Sistercare extends our deepest condolences to the Columbia Police Department, Officer Christopher DeLong, Jr.’s family and loved ones, his fellow officers, and everyone mourning this devastating loss. We are also keeping Officer Dymock in our thoughts and prayers as he continues to recover from his injuries. We stand with Columbia Police Department and all of those grieving, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Officer DeLong for his service and sacrifice.

This Saturday, August 1st, the City of Columbia Government will kick off “Sistercare Saturdays” during Columbia’s Soda City Market to support SCCADVASA member organization Sistercare! The community is encouraged to drop by from 10 am – 12 pm to dunk a local celebrity and learn about resources available to support survivors of domestic violence.

Chapin Woman's Club members generously donated nearly $2,000 worth of school supplies to SisterCare—just in time for the new school year.

Thanks to Christine Woodworth, Kelly Weber, and Donna Gantt for sorting through a mountain of supplies and delivering a carload of back-to-school essentials. Nothing beats bringing smiles to our community when it matters most!
