That is some quality victim blaming. /s
Govt schools have a monopoly on local funding and nearly unlimited support for decades.
And yet 68% of Ohio fourth graders are not proficient in reading and 68% of Ohio eighth graders are not proficient in math.
And it just keeps getting worse.

Opinion: Put the blame for failing schools where it belongs. On parents.

"My friends Bill Redpath for Senate, Brennan Barrington for US house 15, and I had a great time at the meet the candidates night in Columbus.
Thank you so much to Stonewall Columbus for organizing and hosting it! Seems like it was a great turnout from all parties- as I always say, you can’t learn to love thy neighbor without stepping out to meet them, so I appreciated the fact this was non-partisan in all candidates were genuine in their conversations.
My biggest takeaway is that everyone is disenfranchised and that we don’t want to continue to pick our poison.
Quit voting for the lesser of two evils and choose someone who is more in line with your principles and won’t compromise on your or their own integrity. "
