Come to the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds this Saturday, September 16 for the TQ Races! Practice laps start at 6pm, races start at 7pm. (And save the date for Oct 7 for more TQ races at the Fairgrounds!)

Looking for boat or RV storage? You can store your boat, camper or car in a building at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds for $4/foot/month (including hitch length.) Or store in the covered livestock barn at $1.50/foot/month. We will take in items on Sunday Nov 5 from noon to 2pm. Contact the fairgrounds at 812-372-6133 on weekdays 9am-1pm for questions.

Unfortunately, we have gotten so much rain, with more projected for this evening, so we have to cancel the Demolition Derby tonight. Save up your enthusiasm for our Fall Demolition Derby.
The Midway is open today at 3pm for the Last Blast, with $35 wristbands.

🍀Good Morning from the livestock barn! 🍀 It's Auction Day 🍀
Our 4-H Livestock Auction starts in just about an hour, at 8:15am in the Pavilion and Buyers Breakfast starts at 7:30am.
If you haven't been apart of the auction, it is a great opportunity for you or your business to support our 4-H'ers and the hard work and long hours they have put in over the last year!

SUNDAY, JULY 2
Noon – 2 p.m. 4-H and Family Arts Release Exhibits (This is the only time you may pick up exhibits from the Family Arts Building.)
ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE PICKED UP. NO PROJECTS WILL BE BROUGHT BACK TO THE EXTENSION OFFICE. ALL PROJECTS NOT COLLECTED AFTER DESIGNATED PICKUP TIMES WILL BE DISCARDED.

🍀 Supreme Showmanship Day🍀
Our Supreme Showmanship starts with the Rabbit and Poultry Showman at 6:30pm followed by Beef, Dairy, Swine, Sheep & Goats at 7pm.
🐇🐓🐃🐄🐖🐑🐐
During every livestock show, a top showman is selected to represent their species. During Supreme Showmanship, each 4-H'er shows their designated species along with the others. There are judged on their skills in the ring and how well they know each animal.
A top showman is selected for the prestigious title and if you haven't experienced it, you should!

Our 2nd show of the day kicks off at 12:30pm and will start with our Little Wranglers followed by Heifers, Cow/Calf, Starter Calves, Dairy Steers and the Beef Steers.
It's a long day and wraps up our species shows for the week.
Make sure you come out and support our beef exhibitors and admire months of hard work that culminate in today!

Stop past the fairgrounds for a Fish Fry tomorrow night! We will be serving fish sandwiches, fish boats, burgers, hot dogs, coneys, chips and drink at the concession stand next to the pagoda outside the grandstand. We will start serving at 5:30pm until the last heat in the derby.
