Ohio Senate Bill 56 makes numerous changes to Ohio’s ma*****na laws.
These are the key points from the Passage of S.B. 56.
This list will help you realize what is and what isn't allowed under the new law, which supersedes Issue 2, the voter-approved initiative from 2023.
Additionally, Ohio medical ma*****na patients no longer have custodial protections or professional license protections.
If you're on an organ recipient or a donor list, you're no longer eligible to participate in Ohio's Organ Donor Programs.
