🌿 Week 4 – Wednesday Prayer

Theme: Finding Rest in Christ

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for inviting us into Your presence where weary hearts can find true rest. In a world filled with noise, worry, and endless responsibilities, help us to pause and remember that You are our refuge and strength.

Today we pray for those who are carrying heavy burdens. Lift the discouraged, comfort the grieving, strengthen the weary, and heal those who are struggling in body, mind, or spirit.

Teach us to trust You with what we cannot control. Replace our anxiety with Your peace, our fear with faith, and our exhaustion with renewed hope.

Lord, help us not only to receive Your rest but also to share it with others through kindness, encouragement, patience, and love. May we be a light in our homes, our workplaces, and our communities.

We especially lift up our church family today. Unite us in Your love, deepen our faith, and prepare our hearts to worship You with joy this Sunday.

We surrender this day into Your hands, knowing that You are faithful in every season.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. ❤️

🌿 Wisdom Series — Week 4

Sometimes the heaviest burdens are the ones no one else can see.

Jesus doesn’t ask us to carry them alone. His invitation is simple:

“Come to Me… and I will give you rest.” ❤️

Whether you’re weary, overwhelmed, grieving, anxious, or simply worn out by life, His arms are always open. His peace isn’t found in having all the answers—it’s found in trusting the One who holds tomorrow.

Good morning, church family. ☀️

As a new week begins, let’s remember that God is already present in every step we will take. Whether this week brings joy, challenges, decisions, or unexpected turns, we never walk alone.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

Today, take a moment to pause before you rush into your schedule. Offer your plans to the Lord and ask Him to guide your words, your actions, and your heart.

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new day. Lead us with Your wisdom, strengthen us for whatever lies ahead, and help us trust You even when we cannot see the whole path. May we be a light to those around us and reflect Your love in everything we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🙏 Wednesday Prayer

Heavenly Father,

As we pause in the middle of this week, we thank You for Your faithfulness. When life feels heavy, remind us that You are our refuge, our strength, and our constant source of peace.

Today we lift up our neighbors in Vinton County. We pray for every child, every family, every first responder, every law enforcement officer, every volunteer, and every person working to protect and serve their community. Surround them with Your wisdom, courage, protection, and comfort.

Be especially near to those who are hurting, those who are afraid, and those carrying burdens that no one else can see. Let Your love shine brightly through acts of kindness, compassion, and hope.

Bless our churches, our schools, our communities, and our nation. Help us to be the hands and feet of Christ wherever You have placed us.

May we never grow weary of doing good, but continue to trust You in every season.

In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.

🌿 WISDOM SERIES — WEEK 3 🌿

Fear Not, for I Am With You

Fear has a way of making the path ahead seem uncertain. But God’s promise remains unchanged:

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10

No matter what you’re facing today, remember that you do not face it alone. God goes before you, walks beside you, and faithfully carries you through every season.

Take a moment today to read Isaiah 41:10, reflect on His promises, and rest in His presence.
