Upon inspection of the Dog Park today, we found that someone had jammed sticks into the locking mechanism to keep the gate from locking. We are asking our general public to help us keep people from tampering with the facility so that we can keep our furry friends protected from pups that have not had their parents register them to play! If you see something suspicious, please call (812) 376-2680. Thank you!

Dog Park Members,

In the past, the two sections of the Dog Park have been divided into a large dog section and a small dog section. We are going to try a new system. We have locked the west side, will seed that section and give the seed time to grow. When we believe that section is ready, we will open it, lock the east side and repeat the process. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to give Donner Center a call at (812)376-2680.

It will be a 2 mile "bark in the park" route through Mill Race Park. They will be starting and ending at their store, 325 Washing Street. Would anyone want to start a puppy meet up group? For like a half hour a week maybe? I'm trying to raise socialized dogs amongst an unsociable pandemic 😅. Mine are sisters and 4 months old.
