🚨 STORM SAFETY REMINDER — PLEASE USE CAUTION 🚨

Heavy storms have caused widespread damage throughout our area, including flooded roadways, downed trees, power lines, and road closures.

⚠️ Turn Around, Don’t Drown: Never attempt to drive through high water. You may not be able to see how deep the water is or whether the roadway underneath has been washed out.

🌳 Respect Road Closed Signs: If a road is closed due to downed trees, power lines, flooding, or other hazards, do not drive around the barricades or road-closed signs. Conditions can change quickly, and additional trees or debris may fall into the roadway.

Please slow down, stay alert, and give emergency crews and utility workers plenty of room to work.

If you encounter a closed roadway, find an alternate route and stay safe.

Round 2 - Severe Thunderstorm watch until 8PM. Potential for 70-80 MPH winds, which can cause significant widespread damage.

🚒 Safety City Visits Station 591! 🚒

The City of Pickerington hosted Safety City this week, and we were excited to welcome the kids to Station 591!

Our crews enjoyed showing them around the fire station, talking about fire safety, and giving them a chance to see the equipment and fire truck up close.

We love spending time with the next generation and helping teach them important safety lessons!

Thank you to the City of Pickerington for including us in another great Safety City!

The crew from Engine 591 had a great time visiting our friends at Little Tigers Preschool today!

We enjoyed showing the students our fire engine, talking about what firefighters do, and answering all of their great questions.
