It was a pleasure to attend the Ohio CDC Association legislative roundtable, held in Elyria, and meet with community development leaders from across the state. It was a great opportunity to learn more about their work supporting housing development, neighborhood revitalization, and other initiatives that strengthen communities across Ohio. I appreciate the opportunity to hear directly about their priorities and the positive impact they are making to improve quality of life for families and neighborhoods throughout our state.

CV Pharmacy hosted me today for a visit. We discussed their business model, product lines, and relevant legislation. Their drug disposal bin collects 2.3 tons per years to dispose of !

Yesterday, I was honored to present a commendation recognizing the leadership of Mircea Handru and his team as they marked the successful merger of five county behavioral health boards into the North Central Behavioral Health Board.

This consolidation represents a forward thinking approach to behavioral healthcare, allowing resources to be used more efficiently, strengthening regional collaboration, and expanding access to services for the communities they serve.
