Tonight we had to call the squad for one of our friends who has been suffering from frostbite.

For our neighbors on the far east side, options are few. An Uber is only possible if someone has the money, a working phone, and a driver willing to travel in these conditions. Otherwise, the only option is the 4:50 a.m. #5 bus to Community Development for All People—if they can afford the $5 fare.
Please keep our community in your prayers as temperatures drop tonight.

Extreme cold is expected this weekend, with potential snow in the forecast. No one should have to face it alone. Warming centers and shelters across Columbus are open to provide a safe place to stay warm. See the graphic for locations.
