On June 28, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the pictured suspect exited the passenger side of a white Ford F250 with a ladder rack and several toolboxes, ran across N. High St., and approached three male individuals walking northbound. The suspect punched the victim, knocking him out cold. He then attempted to assault the victim further, but was kept away from him by the victim’s friends. The suspect then fled southbound and back to the truck. A second suspect, a black male, who was the driver of the truck, approached the scene, but did not assault anyone.

The suspect was a while male, approximately 5’10”-5’11”, and approximately 150-175 lbs. He had a lighter hair color, with a distinctive pattern of black dye over top, as pictured, and looked 20-23 years old, with at least one tattoo on his left inner forearm.

On July 27, at approximately 11:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Kingsford Rd. on reports of a possible burglary. Officers arrived at the location and upon searching the residence, located a female, later identified as 18-year-old Kauralynn Davis, lying on the floor in the bedroom. The resident of the apartment arrived on scene and advised officers that no one should be inside her apartment, nor did she give anyone permission to be inside.

Officers located several cosmetic items and personal jewelry belonging to the resident inside Ms. Davis’ bag that she was carrying. She was arrested and charged with burglary out of this incident.

On July 12, at approximately 9:10 p.m., the pictured suspect approached a bank ATM in the 3400 block of S. High St. and shattered the glass screen and monitor, causing an estimated $2,000 in damages.

The suspect is a black female, approximately 20-30 years of age, 5'04" tall, and 125lbs driving a white Jeep Patriot or Liberty.

On July 13, 2026, at 11:42 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Brandy Dr. on a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a victim, identified as Aubra L. Groom, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at a local area hospital.

After an extensive investigation, Homicide Detectives were able to establish Rickey Harmon as a suspect in this homicide and issued a warrant for his arrest. Members from Columbus Police SWAT located Mr. Harmon and apprehended him without incident.

On June 9, between approximately 4:37 p.m. - 4:58 p.m., the pictured suspects walked into a business in the 6000 block of E. Broad St. and walked around the store. After a few minutes inside the store, the suspects walked out the entrance, carrying merchandise.

Suspect #1 is a black male, approximately 25-35 years of age, 5'10" - 6'00", 200 - 215 pounds, with visible tattoos on the arms and neck, wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, and long dreads. Suspect #2 is a black female approximately 25-35 years of age, 5'9" - 6'00", 230 - 250 pounds, wearing a red sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a ball cap. Both suspects fled in the pictured light-colored Cadillac.

On July 16, the Columbus Division of Police Organized Crime Bureau, Narcotics Detectives, and Deputies with the Licking County Sheriff's Office CODE Task Force were conducting an ongoing investigation into a Narcotics Trafficking Organization operating in the Central Ohio area. These arrests led to the seizure of 47 kilograms of narcotics with a street value of over a million dollars.

On July 11, 2026, at 12:37 p.m., Columbus Police officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Faber Ave. on an unknown complaint. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, identified as Randelle Bowman, age 67, with obvious trauma to her body. Medics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at 1:44 p.m.

Homicide detectives initiated an investigation and identified David Holmes, age 31, as a suspect in this case. Holmes was detained near the scene and charged with Murder. The preliminary investigation revealed domestic violence as a possible motive.
