We are greatly saddened that CCC lost our dear friend and board member, Gene Cassleberry. Gene was a founding member of CCC. But it did not stop there. He worked tirelessly for his beloved hometown. Gene was involved in the life of every Commerce citizen through his many diverse philanthropic works. CCC will sincerely miss his leadership and the positive direction he always pushed toward. Thank you, Gene, and his wonderful wife, Betty, who always loaned Gene to us no matter what the circumstances! Gene - a true pillar of our community - we’ll miss you!

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all who have served and are now serving. God Bless.....

Great fun!

CCC sponsored a successful motorcycle ride fundraiser as part of the Bois d’Arc Bash festivities. Our route took us up to Pecan Gap, then over to Ben Franklin back through Cooper. We then went across Jim Chapman Dam ( Lake Cooper) back through Birthright and took Hwy 71 back west to Commerce.

We had 13 motorcycles, approximately 8 additional riders for the actual ride….as well as two vehicles to lead and trail the motorcycles. Riders then had the opportunity to ride in the Bois d’Arc Bash Parade.
