On September 12, we are gathering as a community to walk for child safety, for supporting children and families facing crisis and we would LOVE for you to be there.

You don’t have to be a runner. You don’t even have to walk fast. You just have to show up. EVERY step helps keep children safe. 💙

Every step you take on September 12th helps keep a child SAFE. Join us for a 5K, family-friendly walk in Concord: free tee, breakfast snacks, lunch, and a whole lot of heart 💙

Last year: ~100 walkers, $22K raised. Let’s beat that. 💙

When families face a crisis, having a safe place for children can change everything. Your spare change helps provide safe, temporary care for children while parents work through a crisis.

Together, we're strengthening families, preventing child abuse, and ensuring children have a safe place when they need it most.

Intervention is important and is necessary. It is the system’s response when child safety has already been compromised, and it saves lives every day 🙏🏽 We are so very grateful to Child Welfare teams committed to this work.

But Focusing on prevention is URGENT. Because NO CHILD should have to reach a point of harm. When families are strengthened early, it increases child well-being and SAFETY. Safe Refuge exists in that space before a family crisis can escalate into deeper problems putting children at-risk. 🏠🤍
