CariedAway is proud to continue the important work of improving oral health for students in our schools. While our program officially launched last year, we’ve built on years of prior school-based dental efforts, utilizing proven protocols and data tracking that allow us to assess trends going back to 2017.

One great example of our impact is the steady decrease in tooth decay among 6–9-year-olds over six visits, as shown in the graphic below. By focusing on prevention and exceeding CDC and Healthy People goals, we’re helping create healthier smiles and brighter futures for elementary and middle school students.

A Year of Transforming Smiles: Celebrating Our Partnership with Northeast Delta Dental

One year ago this week, Northeast Delta Dental generously provided CariedAway with a vital grant, allowing us to deliver much-needed dental care to children in the Concord, Pittsfield, and Merrimack Valley School Districts. Their support has been key in improving access to care for local families, and we are so grateful for their continued commitment to our mission!

But the impact doesn’t stop there. At CariedAway, we envision a future where childhood dental disease is no longer a widespread health concern. Our protocols don’t just treat cavities; they prevent them, giving kids healthier futures.
