The First Weekend of August is the Largest Farm Tractor and Implement Show in Rusk County.

Golat Implement Days - Tractor and Implement Show is inviting all brands of tractors to display and are invited to participate in the field demos, as the show starts each day at 8:00 a.m.

With wide range of community support, the 2018 show had 135 tractors on display and with many implements displayed and demonstrated. Tractor owners were local owners/collectors along with tractors coming from Reedsburg, WI and Duluth, MN. Years of production displayed were from the 20’s to the 80’s. We were fortunate to have displayed the last Allis-Chalmers off the assembly owned by Marilyn Fenetti of Menomonie, WI. Last year’s show was a huge success. Show visitors came from as far as 300+ miles.

This year’s show will be featuring the Allis-Chalmers D12. We are celebrating 60 years of the D12, which replaced the Allis-Chalmers model CA in 1959. During the 10-year manufacturing run only 4,070 D12's from 1959 to 1968. The D12 had a 138 cubic-inch, four-cylinder, 31-horsepower gasoline engine with about 29 horsepower at the drawbar. Come and give us some ideas for the 2020 feature tractor.

There will be NO cost for admission along with ample free parking. This community event will be celebrating the agricultural past and present with field activities starting around 12:30 p.m. as we will be cutting, raking, square baling hay, chopping haylage, plowing, disking, other field activities. Another area of field demonstration, you will see lawn and garden tractors at work, too. Tractors on display will range from 8 horsepower up to 130 hp. Any size, any brand, and any size horsepower are welcome…. show us what you have.

We will have other contests for the young and old, as we will have slow tractor contests, egg drop competition, and blindfolded tractor driver contest. Come out, participate and watch the fun!

Early risers will have coffee and sweet rolls being served for your morning stroll around the grounds. Starting around 10:30 a.m., a lunch cookout will be available for purchase or please bring your picnic lunch for you and your family. We ask no alcoholic beverages on the show grounds, please. I talked with Darrell Krause of Washington state. He says in 2023, plans are to celebrate the D-21 again....Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of this muscle tractor/

With the tremedous support of the huge display of D-21's in Pontiac, Illinois, he wants to out-do that feat.....I thought there never would be such a chance for another showing like that was......but......

Starting in July 2023, in Hutchinson, MN, the "kick-off" of "The D-21 Tour" starts...the "tour moves next to Albert City Threshermen’s and Collectors’ Show, Albert City, Iowa, August 11-13, 2023...."The D-21 Tours then travels to Peru, Illinios for the next week. That leads to the next week, the final week of "The D-21 Tour" being celebrated at the Rantoul Half Century of Progress Show, Rantoul, IL

Start planning your travel plans...NOW!!!! It is never too soon to plan for such a celebration.
