Good information.
On a seperate note...I don't think most people know that you could be a part of our league, as an associate, even if you never served in the Marine Corps. We have several members of our league that are associates are an integral part of what we do. We would not be able to function as effectively as we do without them.

If volunteers are very concerned about the mission your organization supports, they are going to want to volunteer to feel more connected to that mission.

Everyone wants to be well-adversed in a multitude of activities and skills.

Sometimes people just want to get out of their comfort zone and their friend group.

Similarly, people might volunteer to try to make friends.

A lot of people like having a purpose in life and for some people, their life and family are not their purpose.

Volunteering is a great mental health activity, there are many studies that show it!
