📍 Albany, NY — The New York State Legislature honored the U.S. Military Academy during the 73rd annual West Point Day at the Capitol. Led by USMA Chief of Staff Col. Khanh Diep, New York area cadets and academy leaders were recognized for their enduring contributions to the state and nation. Cadets also had the opportunity to meet with state representatives from their home districts—building connections and reinforcing the legacy of service.

Battle Road
Events occurring across Minute Man NHP from 9:30am-4:30pm
This is the signature living history event at Minute Man National Historical Park, featuring hundreds of volunteer reenactors. Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the events of April 19, 1775 from many points of view. The day will also include a full schedule of living history programs and demonstrations, including two fast-paced tactical demonstrations along restored stretches of the original Battle Road near Hartwell Tavern (11:30am) and Minute Man Visitor Center (12:30pm).

Battle Road Anniversary Hike
Join National Park Rangers for an immersive 5-mile guided Battle Road trail hike from Meriam’s Corner in Concord to Fiske Hill in Lexington and follow in the footsteps of the ill-fated British column during the Concord expedition. This experiential program will bring the stories of the battle road to life through guided interpretation and immersive Living History elements.
