A foundation is being poured... but this project is about so much more than a building.
This week, the incredible volunteers from Eight Days of Hope poured the foundation and began framing our new Pottery Barn—a space where dancers, trafficking survivors, and women in our programs will experience healing, creativity, and restoration.
As we watched the concrete being poured and the walls begin to rise, we couldn't help but think of Jesus' words:
"Everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." — Matthew 7:24
Before there can be walls, there must be a foundation. Before there can be restoration, there must be something strong enough to build upon.
For many of the women we serve, life has been built on broken promises, trauma, exploitation, and pain. But God is in the business of rebuilding. He is laying a new foundation—one rooted in His truth, His love, and His purpose.
This Pottery Barn will be more than a building. It will be a place where hands once used for survival can be used to create beauty. A place where stories of brokenness are reshaped into testimonies of redemption.
Thank you, Eight Days of Hope, and thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, and supported this vision. Together, we're not just building a structure—we're helping build lives on the only foundation that never fails. ❤️
