🚨MISSING PERSON - 08/24/26, 6:25pm

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a search for 68-year-old Arturo Gonzales, who was last seen in the area of Town Hill Way in Berry Creek.

Arturo is described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 5’7” tall and weighing 160 pounds. His clothing description is currently unknown.

Arturo is reported to have difficulty walking and may be prone to falling.

If you have seen Arturo or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact the Butte County Sheriff’s Office at 530-538-7322.

🎉 HE’S FINALLY SAFE! 🐾❤️

The stray dog who has been running along I-5 near Corning has finally been caught!

For weeks, this smart, determined guy managed to evade multiple law enforcement agencies every time. Today, though, his luck ran out—in the best possible way. ❤️

A trap was set by Officer England this afternoon at Corning Ford, and the dog finally walked in early this evening!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped look for him, set traps, monitored his movements, and refused to give up. 🙏🐾

After all the close calls, he is finally safe and no longer running along the freeway. What a relief!

One less dog in danger on I-5! 🎉🐕
