Happy Fourth of July!

From myself and the entire staff of the 148th District Court, we wish you and your family a safe, happy and blessed Independence Day.

Today we celebrate the ideals that make our nation strong. Freedom, justice and service to our communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of our community and honor the men and women who have sacrificed to protect the liberties we enjoy.

Have a wonderful Fourth of July, and may God bless our community, the great State of Texas and the United States of America!

What an incredible evening! Thank you to everyone who came out to support my campaign. Your encouragement, conversations and belief in the hard work being done in the 148th District Court continue to inspire me every day.

The Youth Government Academy held its sessions last week. I’ve helped with this group for several years now. Last Wednesday the students came to watch a court session and stayed behind to ask questions and tour the courtroom. These kids know how to ask the tough questions.

It has been my honor to serve as Judge of the 148th District Court, and I look forward to another four years of working hard for this community and the people of Nueces County. Together, we will continue striving to ensure fairness, integrity and justice for all.
