Not the outcome we were hoping for, but I truly believe the Lord has a plan for all of us, and I trust that He has other plans for me moving forward.

First and foremost, I want to congratulate Mr. Karhan on his victory. Running for office is not an easy journey, and I wish him nothing but the very best as he becomes our next County Judge. I ask everyone to join me in supporting Mr. Karhan because, at the end of the day, we all want the same thing — for Navarro County to continue to grow, prosper, and move forward in a positive direction. That can only happen when we come together and work toward the common good. I believe he will work hard for the people of this county, and I will be praying for wisdom and success as he takes on this important responsibility.

Secondly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who stood beside me throughout this journey. There are truly not enough words to express the gratitude I feel. To everyone who donated to my campaign, put out signs, shared my message, worked the polls, encouraged me, prayed for me, called, texted, sent messages on social media, or simply offered kind words and support along the way — thank you. Your belief in me meant more than you will ever know.

This campaign was long, challenging, and demanding at times, but it was also incredibly rewarding because it allowed me to meet so many wonderful people across Navarro County. I could have never done any of this without each and every one of you. The support, encouragement, and friendships built throughout this process are something I will always cherish.

Lastly, I want everyone to know that this campaign was never about a title or position for me. It was always about service. I simply felt called to continue serving the community that I love so deeply. Navarro County has always been home to me, and no election result will ever change my commitment to this county or to the people who make it such a special place.

I will continue moving forward, and I will continue looking for ways to serve Navarro County just as I always have. My heart for this community remains the same today as it was when this journey began.

Thank you all again for your support, your prayers, and your faith in me throughout this campaign. May God bless each and every one of you, and may God continue to bless Navarro County.

Mr. James Polk is a such a soft spoken, thoughtful and interesting gentleman. He is a veteran and attorney for the past 45 years. I have really enjoyed getting to know more about him over the last several months.

As we head into Election Day tomorrow, I want to personally thank everyone who has supported me throughout this campaign. Whether you shared a post, put out a sign, volunteered, or helped spread the word, I truly appreciate every bit of support.

Over the past several months, I’ve had the opportunity to visit with people all across Navarro County and hear what matters most to our community. This campaign has always been about continuing to serve the people and I have focused on leadership, service, and doing what’s best for the people of this county.

Now we’re down to the final stretch. Election Day is tomorrow, and every single vote is going to matter in this race. Polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Please take the time to get out and vote, and encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same.
