LEE ALLEN MEMORIAL YOUTH AUCTION
2020 VIRTUAL

Here's some more information on the process and closing process of our first-ever virtual youth auction. As always, you can find all of this information on our website at http://ow.ly/5dxM50As2Zr. You can download a PDF and bookmark the website to have all of the information at your fingertips for the July 29th through July 31st event!

AUCTION PROCESS
1.) All lots will remain open for bidding until closing, which begins on July 31, at 12:00 pm (noon).
2.) Add-ons will continue to remain open throughout the auction and will not close until Tuesday, August 4, at 12:00 midnight. This gives you the opportunity to add money to an individual after the sale.
3.) Lots will be sold as in the past, in order of the placing, and the species order will be beef, coats, small animals, swine, and sheep. There will be minimum bids for this virtual auction; $2,500 for beef, $600 for swine, $400 for goats, and $600 for sheep. This was an established average breakeven, but a large share of the youth have many more dollars invested in their projects.

AUCTION CLOSING
1.) Bids will begin to close on July 31, at 12:00 pm (noon), lasting one minute per lot.
2.) If there is competitive bidding and a bid is placed within the last 30 seconds of the lot closing, the lot will extend for an additional 30 seconds. All subsequent lot closing times will be pushed out accordingly.
NOTE: Lot's closing times could vary from the actual posted times, therefore, don't count on the posted times as absolute.
3.) We expect the closing bidding time to last 4-6 hours. We believe most of the bidding will be done prior to closing.

LEE ALLEN MEMORIAL YOUTH AUCTION

Curious as to how the 4H auction will start on Wednesday, July 29th? Here's some of the details and, as always, you can find all of this information on the website at http://ow.ly/EgPv50As2vI. Please contact us with any questions you may have and please share with your friends, family and colleagues who may be interested in supporting local youth projects.

1.) Auction will open for browsing, bids, and add-ons on July 29 at 6:00 pm. Visit our website a http://ow.ly/WR9j50As2vL to access the site.

2.) To start bidding you will need to log-in; do so by clicking the "Log In" in the top right corner of the screen. Search your name in the drop-down list. If you did not pre-register, please enter all pertinent information with cell phone and email.
Select Request Code.
This will text you a 4-digit security code. Enter that code in the box below your name (another important reason to have your cell phone entered on registration, not a landline).

3.) If you name doesn't appear on the list, select Register New Buyer, and complete the form. It is absolutely necessary to have email and cell number entered, not land line. A text message will be sent to you with a unique 4-digit code. Enter that code to gain access into the auction site.

4.) This code is unique to each registered buyer. This password/code is your bidding password for the auction and will be used throughout the auction. Make sure to keep this code for logging back into the site at later times.

5.) You will receive a text message if a lot you bid on has been outbid.

6.) There is a filter in the top left corner - click on it see options to query clubs, cities, species, and, most importantly, what lots you have bid on and what lots you currently have winning bid on at that time.

Kids, Critters & Cotton Candy!

Located in the beautiful Willamette Valley, west of the Oregon State University campus, the Benton County Fair and Rodeo is proud to offer this great, family-oriented opportunity the first weekend in August! This year join 4-H members as they show their project animals and static displays, open show livestock competitions, home economic projects, photography skills, gardening and more! The third-annual Larry Bell All Girls Memorial Rodeo (Wednesday) and two nights of Northwest Professional Rodeo Association action (Thursday and Friday).

Nightly concerts for the cost of your admittance ticket, we are excited to rock the night away on the first night of fair as The Fat Bottomed Girls open for The Springsteen Experience. The Fat Bottom Girls is a song by Queen and this female fronted rock band will showcase the hits of Queen, Heart, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, and other Queens of Rock.

The Springsteen Experience: A Tribute to the Boss is a high-octane, chronological journey, recreating the most memorable moments and state interactions throughout E STREET concert history. From 1973 through the height of Bruce’s fame in the 80’s and beyond, this theatrical production accurately replicates the near circus-like appeal of an authentic Springsteen concert; including vintage equipment and stage sets, costume changes, and note-perfect renditions of Bruce’s most popular hits and lyrical gems.

Country music takes to the stage on Thursday with Jessica Lynne opening for Canaan Smith. Sometimes authentic country music artists do not grow up in what we would consider hotbeds of country music. Sometimes they grown up in Haslev, Denmark, the hometown of Nashville recording artists Jessica Lynne, who currently resides in Tacoma, Washington. Upon moving to the U.S. in 2010, Jessica’s country music career took off like a shot, buoyed by her vocal and songwriting talents and compelling stage presence.
