We need your help to bring healthy and nutritious foods to students struggling to make ends meet. Hunger is a day after day reality for many of our students, but week after week, the Human Services Resource Center has been providing grocery support, helping students sign up for SNAP and supporting students with emergency housing resources. Today is Dam Proud Day; can you pitch in and help us help our student community?

Student Budget Advisory Council

Opportunity for Student Engagement on OSU’s Tuition and Budget: Have you always wondered how the University sets tuition and determines budget priorities? We are looking for students to join the Student Budget Advisory Council (SBAC). SBAC is a student group that serves in an advisory role to the University Budget Committee (UBC). The SBAC gives students the chance to engage with peers to provide input, raise issues and ask questions about OSU’s tuition, fees, finances and budget priorities. The University Budget Committee considers the SBAC’s input an important part of tuition and budget decision processes. The SBAC meets Monday evenings at 7 p.m. Meetings will be held via Zoom through the Fall. Benefits of SBAC participation include peer engagement, leadership, skill development and more. For those interested in tuition and fee rates, policies including short-term recommendations for 2021-2022 and long-term planning strategy for OSU tuition please complete an SBAC Membership Application Form via https://tinyurl.com/sbacapl or for more information feel free to check us out on the web at https://tinyurl.com/sbacmain or contact [email protected].

The purpose of the Student Budget Advisory Council is to provide an avenue for student input to the University Budget Committee on issues regarding tuition, fees, and budget priorities; to improve communication between students and the administration about issues regarding university finances and bu...

While supplies last, we’ll share these at our regularly scheduled pantry and Healthy Beaver Bag events. Two per person in your household, we also have some kids sizes. We feel safer when y’all wear masks when you come to pantries (and elsewhere) so our staff and community can stay safe. I made French-style bread! It was delicious, thank you.
I made the Butternut squash soup. It was delicious! Thanks
I did the tomato sauce and we ate it with spaghetti. It was great, thank you!
I have a question. If I have an overabundance of a particular vegetable in my garden, I understand that you will take donations. Since fresh vegetables have a pretty short shelf life, I am wondering how much of the donations are really put to good use before they go bad? It is Summer and the student population is down, so, is the demand very great? Or do you have a glut right now?
Thank You, HSRC, for donating Kind bars to the College of Forestry Advising office yesterday during your open house. We are so grateful for the work you do and support you give our students.
I am currently an OSU senior student parent. I wanted to share this here for the sake of my youngest son, whom I have half the week, while he lives with his father the other half of the week. They have gone through a devastating loss and my heart aches for my son. My sister, my friends, my family, and myself are doing what we can to help, but we are limited to how much we can help. Please please read this story and share. My baby needs a place to call home when he is with his daddy. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1437555266292654&id=100001145826888
