Curious about why it takes so long to get your returns checked in? There's no need to worry! Due to our current quarantine procedures, it will take us 7-10 days to check in your returns. But we've been fine free since July, so even if your items are late coming back or late getting checked in, you won't get any overdue fines!

If you still have questions or concerns about items checked out on your account, you can always give us a call and we'll be happy to assist you!

Corvallis Parks and Recreation has closed all Natural Areas until further notice. The closure is due to continued extreme fire danger and limited firefighting resources currently available. This announcement includes the following natural areas:

A new digital resource for students and lifelong learners to explore: the Black Women’s Suffrage Digital Collection!

This collection provides digital access to materials documenting the roles and experiences of Black Women in the Women’s Suffrage Movement and, more broadly, women’s rights, voting rights, and civic activism between the 1850s and 1960. It also includes a timeline of major events and short bios for some of the key figures in the movement.

Update 9/4: The September book club kits have been claimed!

Do you have some young readers at home who might want to join our Kids Book Club? This book club is perfect for kids who are reading beginning chapter books! Even though the group can't meet in person right now, we put together at-home kits with the monthly book club selection, a craft, discussion prompts, and a bonus mail challenge.

To start off the school year, we're offering another kit for teens entering 6th-12th grades, while supplies last! For those of you who've been waiting patiently for this, Walk-Up Library Service in Corvallis is here! We'll be offering limited services for now, including picking up holds, checking out, and making requests, and there is still no access to the building at this time. However, our staff is happy to make suggestions, place holds, and grab items that are available in the building.

Check below for our current hours ⬇️
-Mondays: 10 AM - 2 PM
-Wednesdays: 2 PM - 6 PM
-Saturdays: 10 AM - 2 PM

Here's the deal though: we're still offering delivery! If you're more comfortable continuing to receive library materials through delivery, feel free to do so. (And you can absolutely sign up for delivery still here: https://cbcpubliclibrary.net/delivery/ )

If you'd like to switch from delivery to picking up your holds in person, we can do that! But please note that you won't be able to do both, you'll need to choose the service that works best for you.
