I want to publicly thank everyone who supported me in this election campaign! Without your support, this win would not have been possible!
Congratulations to Stephen Thompson for Mayor, Cottleville as well!
But mostly - I want to thank everyone in Cottleville who came out and voted today. No matter who you voted for - I thank you. This was a good turnout for a local only election - possibly a record. Many of our Veterans fought and died to preserve our right to vote, and I thank each and every one. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I'm ready to get to work for the citizens of Cottleville. Thank YOU!

Today I will post some more "fun facts" about me. ☺️

I've been married for 39 years. We got married because my husband, (boyfriend at the time) had received some "fast driving awards" and the car insurance was ridiculous. Getting married made it cheaper. True story. But it has worked out well (39 yrs worth) 🥰

We have 2 children that graduated from Francis Howell Central. Daughter is married, lives in St Peters and has 2 children. Son is married and lives in Phoenix, also has 2 children. Very proud of them both!

I have volunteered with animal rescue groups for 20 years, and I am currently the Executive Director of Heartland Humane Society. I'm also known as a "failed foster", as I've kept some foster cats instead of placing them for adoption...😸

I love quilting, Mom and I have made many keepsake quilts for our family members. We also did the Missouri "Quilt Shop Hop" and visited over 100 quilt stores over a 2 week period..

That's it for today - stay tuned for more posts - and I hope I have your support on April 8th!

So, today I will skip the political posts and post some "fun facts" about me. This one is about my support for Veterans, and my family members who are Veterans.

Sgt. Alvin Cullum York of WW1 fame is a distant relative of mine.

My father worked for the Air Force, Navy, and Army as an Aeronautical Engineer, for the Department of Defense. He also was the lead on the Comanche RAH-66 Attack Helicopter program.

Both of my grandfathers were in WW2, one was in the Army Air Force, the other was a Navy Seabee in the Pacific Theater.

I am in charge of the "Boots On The Ground" program, recognizing our Veterans, at my work location. I also created a wall collage, recognizing them for Veterans Day. See picture..

As a former Alderman and longtime resident, I have witnessed Cottleville’s incredible growth over the past 20+ years. However, not all of this growth has benefited our residents. I am running to bring my experience, knowledge, and passion back to city government - ensuring that future development is resident-focused and enhances our community’s character. There have been things done, and passed, by our city government without proper knowledge and transparency. I believe I can help to resolve these issues. Please Vote on Tuesday, April 8th, and Thank You for your support!
