Last night was beautiful! Stories were shared, sounds were sung, and best of all.... God was there!

Thanks to our friends at Life Action for leading us so well! We will miss you! I pray we remember what the Lord did in each of us, and continue to be honest and obedient to His Spirit.

We spent today serving at AMOS (Appalachian Ministries Of the Smokies). This ministry of Carson Newman serves over 600 local families from 3 counties each month. It is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who were happy to see us. We helped sort donated items for the local thrift store, restock and organize goods for the food pantry, repackage dog food into smaller bags, and prepare used grocery bags for food pantry shoppers. We broke down lots of cardboard! The workers said we accomplished several full days of work for them in a short time.

Had a great weekend retreat with FBC Holly Springs! Thankful for the beauty of creation, campfire s'mores, and pancakes with Sprite. God is good!
