Come out and enjoy Covington's White Linen Night for an evening of art, shopping, music, and libations. In additional, portions of Columbia St.

Covington White Linen for Public Art is a completely community driven cultural Arts event, created to promote Downtown Covington's wonderful array of businesses. Beginning this year, all proceeds will benefit the Public Art for Covington Fund, which aims to place meaningful artwork around Downtown Covington for locals and visitors to enjoy. Most area businesses have elected to donate 10% of their

sales the evening of the event towards the fund, which is administered through the non-profit Northshore Community Foundation. This means patrons can come out in their white attire and enjoy everything that historic Downtown Covington has to offer, knowing that 10% of every dollar spent will further improve our community and quality of life. and Lee Lane will be blocked off for pedestrians to stroll and enjoy a variety of projected light art installations, live music, vendors of original art & hand made goods, and more in the works.

Covington White Linen for Public Art—deadline approaches!

Covington’s largest FREE Summer gathering is coming up fast — Saturday, August 15, 6–9 PM in Downtown Covington.

A quick reminder for all sponsors, vendors, participating businesses, and community partners:

To be included in event signage and printed recognition materials, please submit your logo, sponsorship commitment, vendor confirmation and donation/payment by Friday, July 17.

This deadline is important so we can finalize sponsor recognition and get event signage into production.

Checks should be made payable to: Covington Public Art Fund
Please write White Linen in the memo line.

Checks may be dropped off at Southern Hotel or Saladino Gallery, or contact the event team to coordinate pickup.

There is still time to support, sponsor, vend, volunteer, or reserve a recognition opportunity — but the signage deadline is this Friday.

Covington White Linen for Public Art is growing into something truly special.

This year, Downtown Covington will be activated in new ways — with block-party-style hubs, featured artists, gallery receptions, art markets, live music, mobile bar stations, photo opportunities, a kids’ market, costume contests, and creative surprises throughout town.

From Columbia Street to Courthouse Alley, from Boston Street to the Trailhead, this year’s event is designed to invite people to stroll, gather, discover, and celebrate.

At the center of it all is the mission: supporting Public Art in Covington.

Public art makes our town more beautiful, more walkable, more memorable, and more connected. Covington White Linen helps bring artists, businesses, residents, and visitors together around that shared vision.

Covington White Linen for Public Art 2026 is coming!
We’re inviting artists, businesses, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and the entire Covington community to get involved in this year’s celebration of public art.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 6–9 PM in downtown Covington. This will be our 13th annual event, and it promises to be the biggest and most exciting one yet, with public art, live music, artist markets, local businesses, community partners, and special activations throughout downtown.
