📅 IMPORTANT: NEW PROPERTY TAX DEADLINE
Beginning with the 2026 tax year, the annual property tax due date has changed from December 20 to November 15.
Because November 15 falls on a Sunday this year, taxpayers may make their payment through Monday, November 16, 2026, without penalties or interest being charged.
🏠 HOMEOWNERS: LOOK FOR YOUR HTRG CREDIT
Eligible homeowners will see a Homeowner Tax Relief Grant (HTRG) credit applied to their 2026 property tax bill.
Because of this state legislature approved and funded credit, most homesteaded property owners will see a reduction in their 2026 property tax bill compared to last year.
The amount of the HTRG credit varies depending on the taxing jurisdiction where the property is located and the applicable millage rates.
The HTRG credit is separate from your regular Homestead or Senior Exemptions and is a one-time credit for the 2026 tax year.
💰 DON’T WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER!
Payments are being accepted NOW, and partial payments are always accepted. Taxpayers who would benefit from spreading their payments out are encouraged to start early.
