“DoW Announces Navy’s First Advanced Nuclear Microreactor Deployment at Naval Weapons Station Crane”

The War Department announced the planned installation of Indiana's first advanced nuclear Micro Modular Reactor at Naval Weapons Station Crane no later than September 2028.

In recognition of Labor Day, installation gate hours will be as follows:

-Visitor Center: Closes 4 September at 1:30 p.m. and will reopen 8 September at 6:00 a.m.
-Crane Gate: Open 24/7.
-Bloomington Gate: Closes 3 September at 10:00 p.m. and will reopen 8 September at 4:30 a.m.
-Burns City Gate: Closes 3 September at 5:30 p.m. and will reopen 8 September at 5:30 a.m.

The following activities will be open as depicted:

-Café: Closes 4 September at 12:30 p.m. and will reopen 8 September.
-Lakeview Conference Center: Open, by reservation only.
-ITT Office: Closes 4 September at 1:30 p.m. and will reopen 8 September.
-Fitness Center: Closed 7 September and will reopen 8 September at 5:00 a.m.
-The Marina: Open from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
-The Campground: Open for the season.
-The Pool: Open from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Will be closed for the season 8 September.
-NEX: Closed 7 September and will reopen 8 September at 8:00 a.m.
-Commissary: Open, regular hours 4 September and 7 September.
