The Three R’s for Crookston’s Future
Rational Leadership: Good governance requires looking at every issue from all angles. I believe in thoughtful, objective decision-making where every perspective is heard and valued. In a tight-knit community like Crookston, we won't always agree, but we must always respect one another. I am committed to moving past divisive politics and focusing on professional, respectful collaboration—because being rude gets us nowhere. At the end of the day, we are all neighbors, and working together is the only true way forward.
Realistic Progress: We need to be honest and practical about Crookston’s financial realities. Being realistic means making tough but necessary choices about what we can and should do with our city’s budget. I will focus on sustainable growth—ensuring our tax dollars are managed responsibly while laying a pragmatic, achievable groundwork for what our city can look like in the years to come.
Resilient Community: Crookston is a town that knows how to bounce back. Whether facing economic shifts or local setbacks, our residents are incredibly resilient. To keep adapting with the times, we need strong, informed leadership in place. I will ensure our city council has the accurate data and transparent information required to make decisions that protect Crookston's future, helping us not just weather the tough times, but emerge stronger on the other side.
