DCI has a new and expanded scope to improve and grow the economic development of Main Street, which we believe will in turn benefit the entire county. We are a non-profit organization devoted to improving the downtown Crossville area. One of our goals is to build a bridge between organizations, local communities and groups.

The soundtrack of summer is back! Thursdays at the Amp returns this Thursday, June 4th for another season of Crossville’s favorite free concert series! 🎶☀️

What a day at the races!🌹🐎🌹

The Downtown Derby was an incredible success, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate, support, and show up in true Derby style. 👒

From the bold hats and festive attire to the mint juleps flowing and the amazing food (we’re still dreaming about those Kentucky Hot Brown sliders and mini Derby pies 😍), the entire afternoon was full of energy, charm, and community.

The silent auction brought the heat with so many great items and plenty of excitement around our mystery bourbon lineup! And when it came time for the race, the crowd was all in. While no one picked Golden Tempo, one guest backed Renegade, who took second place, so Scott Davis rode away a winner with VIP tickets to Taste of Crossville 2026. 🏇

Most importantly, this event helped support the ongoing work of Downtown Crossville Inc., and we couldn’t do it without this amazing community.

We’ve been keeping a secret…

We are thrilled to announce that Crossville has officially been designated a Tennessee Main Street Community by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development! 🏛️

Crossville is now the 48th Tennessee Main Street community, joining a statewide network dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and revitalizing historic downtowns across Tennessee.

So what does this mean for Crossville?
The Tennessee Main Street Program, modeled after the National Main Street Center, helps communities strengthen the heart of their town through the Four-Point Approach®:
✨ Design – Enhancing downtown’s appearance and historic character
✨ Economic Vitality – Growing and supporting local businesses
✨ Promotion – Showcasing downtown as the vibrant hub of our community
✨ Organization – Building partnerships and local leadership

As Crossville’s Main Street Advisory Board, Downtown Crossville Inc. (DCI) is a proud partner in this initiative—led by the Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Crossville - City Government, local leaders, and passionate community members.

This designation opens the door to new resources, training, and funding opportunities that will help us continue to make Downtown Crossville a thriving destination for business, culture, and community connection.
