Along with other composting communities, we are showing how local composting programs can scale across Westchester County. Turning everyday kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost lowers emissions and enriches our ecosystem:

"Six million dollars in state infrastructure funding are set to be delivered to Hudson Valley municipalities for infrastructure work...the Village of Croton-on-Hudson received $1 million to pay for sewer improvements including a new sewer force main. Those sewer upgrades, officials said, will clear the way for the construction of a 100-unit mixed-use condo building less than 500 yards from the Croton Harmon Metro North station. The 100-unit building will be made up of 46 one-bedroom units and 54 two-bedroom units, with 105 parking spaces on-site, officials said."-- Patch
