The Lakes of the Four Seasons POA Board of Directors made several decisions at their May 11th Executive Meeting. These decisions were made for the health and safety of the residents, their family and guests and the employees of LOFS and were based on the Roadmap to Safely Reopen Indiana that was put in place by Governor Holcomb.
1. All concerts are cancelled until after July 4th. We will try to reschedule those concerts throughout September.
2. The fireworks show is still scheduled for July 4th but there will be no celebration event from the POA or the Lions that day. The Lions are working on a parade that will consist of vehicles only (no walkers). The parade route will take place throughout most of the community. We will advertise the route once it has been finalized. There will be no throwing of candy. To limit the amount of people that come into the community to watch the fireworks show there will be a $20 fee per vehicle that does not have a current LOFS decal after 6 pm. The lower parking lot will only be open to vehicles with current LOFS decals only.
3. The LOFS Pool will not open until after July 4th. The Family Membership fee will be prorated for the remainder of the season. Those that have already paid for the family membership will receive a prorated credit on their account.
4. The 19th Hole Restaurant will open Monday, May 18th for “To Go” food orders only with limited hours. Those hours will posted soon. It will open for inside dining after June 21st when we are allowed to be at 75% capacity.
5. The Seasons Lakehouse will not open until after July 4th.
6. The Golf Shop will open Saturday, May 16th with limited hours and restrictions.
Because of the uncertainties from the Coronavirus pandemic things could change. We will keep you updated.

We have placed a link called BACK ON TRACK INDIANA on the LOFS website under the Special Notifications page. It outlines Governor Holcomb's roadmap to safely reopen Indiana.

Governor Eric J. Holcomb: Indiana Stay-At-Home Order FAQ

To all LOFS Residents:

Over the past few weeks, we have noticed groups of individuals not adhering to the social distancing order that has been put in place by Governor Holcomb. We have seen both adults and young teens driving into and throughout the community with friends, children being allowed to go to the parks and congregate without the proper separation, and with the warm weather small groups of individuals driving around the community on golf carts with others that do not live in the same household.
These actions are in direct violation of the statewide social distancing order enacted by our governor. The LOFS Community still has to follow the “Stay at Home, Stay Healthy” order that was put in place.
During this order you should not be riding in a vehicle including golf carts with anybody that does not live in the same household.
You should not be playing any contact sports or any sport that involves touching something such as a tennis ball, basketball, baseball, etc.. with anyone that does not live in the same household.
Governor Holcomb stated in the “Stay at Home Order” the following when asked about visiting friends and family:
“For your safety, as well as the safety of all Hoosiers, you should remain at home to help fight the spread of COVID-19. You may visit family members who need medical or other essential assistance, such as ensuring an adequate food supply.”
It continues in stating that families can go outside and take a walk, run, ride a bike, go fishing or boating, but they should still continue to practice “Social Distancing” and remain six feet away from other people.
The CDC also recommends face covering in public places.
The POA made the decision which falls in line with the state directive to close all community playgrounds because they pose a high risk of increasing the spread of the virus.
The Public Safety Department Officers will be out checking the areas and educating these people found in “Violation.”
This will include inspecting the beaches, parks, playground areas, golf course, as well as individuals out on golf carts. We all need to remember that the social distancing order of six feet was enacted to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus which is affecting all areas of the country.
The more we as a community work together in doing what is right by staying home to help stop the spread of this virus, the sooner we can all start enjoying a normal life of being outside.

Holcomb delivered a statewide address Monday to order that Hoosiers remain in...

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID -19) pandemic, we have decided to close the 19th Hole and Seasons Lakehouse Restaurants until further notice.

During this time of uncertainty, I want to ensure our community that the Public Safety Department will still be there to help in any way that we can. This means we will still respond to calls within our community for help whether it’s medical or personal.
We will of course be taking extra steps to protect ourselves during this time while adhering to the "social distancing” policies. This means during certain medical call conditions; you may find officers staging themselves outside the home until Ems arrives to evaluate the safety of entering and the necessity for increasing the close proximity with each other.
Furthermore, we will be limiting the access to anyone entering the main building at the entrance of LOFS to employees only. During this time any report copy requests or house check requests should be done so by email. A copy of the house check form is available on the “Public Side” of the LOFS website under the Community tab and the Applications & Documents page. You may email a copy to [email protected].

Notice for LOFS residents: The POA Board of Directors recently amended the Trash and Recycling Container policy. Trash and Recycling containers can now be placed out at 4:00 PM the day before trash and recycling collection between the time daylight savings time ends and begins.

********SCAM ALERT********
Currently people are getting calls from scammers who claim they work for Nipsco. These criminals even cloned the Nipsco name to show up on your phone when they call or text. Of course, with all scams they are making claim that you have past unpaid bills, and are currently sending techs out to disconnect your service. They then begin to ask for the account information for your homes service as well as any name on the account.

DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE – again they are attempting to scam you out of your money.

They are requesting in this SCAM that people to go to a Walgreens or a local CVS to obtain a per-paid card in order to bring the account to balance. Once you purchase the card or cards they request that you again contact them with that card info.

Nipsco is not going to request any payment be made through the use of a pre-paid card!

We questioned these scammers why not just make a payment at Nipsco direct and they stated that the department is closed and not accepting payments in person. !!SCAM!!

Nipsco has been contacted on this and confirmed their info was cloned and is being used in this scam. Anyone that has received this type of call should hang up and call Nipsco directly to provided any information they can to their operators.

So far two numbers being used in the attempted calls and texts are - 1-800-475-3012 and 219-209-8959. These two numbers were reported to Nipsco direct.
