Just a reminder the AACo 4-H Cake Auction is Sunday Sept. 20th 🍀🍀🍀

Ten-year-old Herbie Martin IV stayed up until 2 a.m., perfecting his lemon blueberry buttercream cake. On Wednesday night, it sold for $15,000 — the top bid at the Carroll County 4-H and FFA Fair‘s charity cake auction, which raised more than $100,000 this year.

🎓 4-H All Stars of Anne Arundel County Academic Scholarships 🎓

The 4-H All Stars of Anne Arundel County are awarding two $1,000 scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year! Current and former Anne Arundel County 4-H members who are enrolled in an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, graduate program, or post-secondary technical training program are encouraged to apply.

The AAC 4-H Foundation is accepting entries for the 2026 County Fair 4-H T-Shirt Design Contest!

Create a production-ready design that celebrates 4-H at the County Fair and reflects what 4-H means to our members. Designs may include both text and graphics.

🏆 The winning design will:
👕 Be featured on the back of the official 2026 County Fair 4-H T-shirt, given to every 4-H participant at the county fair, compliments of the AAC 4-H Foundation.
💰 Receive a $50 cash prize!
🎉 Be announced at the 4-H Cookout in August.

Calling all youth livestock exhibitors near Washington, D.C! 🐏🐮🐷🐐

History is happening on the National Mall this summer, and we want you to be part of it. Join us as a Youth Agricultural Ambassador during the 250th anniversary celebration of our nation at this year’s Great American State Fair. You’ll represent the next generation of agriculture by showcasing your animals and engaging directly with thousands of fairgoers from 10:00 AM–11:30 AM each day.

When: June 25 – July 10
Where: Washington, D.C. on the National Mall
