📣 **Seeking a Volunteer Board Vice President**
Rockin’ The Spectrum is seeking an active, dependable **Board Vice President** to help strengthen our board, support fundraising, and keep our goals moving forward.
We support individuals with autism and other disabilities and their families through **Inclusion, Compassion, Acceptance, and Belonging.**
**Responsibilities include:**
• Helping establish clear board responsibilities, goals, and deadlines.
• Following up with board members on their commitments.
• Recruiting engaged board members and committee leaders.
• Building community partnerships and supporting fundraising and sponsorship outreach.
• Working alongside our founder and board president to prepare for meetings and guide board activities.
• Leading board meetings when the president is unavailable.
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and follows through. Experience in leadership, nonprofit boards, fundraising, or community partnerships is helpful.
💻 **Board meetings are held online on the fourth Monday of each month.** Active participation and follow-through between meetings are expected. Connections to McHenry or Lake County are a plus.

💜 **We’re Hiring: Development Coordinator**

Help Rockin’ The Spectrum grow the support that makes inclusion possible!

We’re looking for an organized, motivated person to build donor relationships and find funding for programs supporting individuals with autism and other disabilities and their families.

**What you’ll do:**

• Research grants and help prepare applications
• Connect with potential donors and foundations
• Help develop donation campaigns and monthly giving
• Follow up with donors and send thank-you acknowledgments
• Track funding opportunities, deadlines and donor communication
• Work with our Sponsorship & Events Coordinator and marketing team

**Part-time • Approximately 5 hours per week to start • Remote**, with occasional meetings with our leadership team.

**This position has room to grow in hours and responsibilities as our organization grows.**

Strong writing, organization and follow-through are essential. Fundraising, grant writing or nonprofit experience is preferred.

📣 **We’re Hiring a Part-Time Bookkeeper!**

Rockin’ The Spectrum is looking for an experienced, dependable bookkeeper to support our nonprofit and help keep our finances organized.

**Responsibilities include:**

• Processing payroll and maintaining payroll records
• Keeping monthly bookkeeping current
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
• Preparing monthly financial reports
• Meeting with leadership to review reports and answer questions

This is a **small, flexible role with ongoing monthly work**. Most work can be completed remotely, with occasional meetings with our leadership team in Crystal Lake.

Bookkeeping and payroll experience required. Nonprofit experience is a plus. Applicants should be comfortable working with accounting and payroll software.
