The Adjutant General, MG Boyles, came to speak to the 106th BSB leaders, as well as to recognize one Soldier per company for going above age beyond during this year's xCTC rotation.

Charlie Med's outstanding Soldier is PFC Buie. She was instrumental in the seamless communication between battalion and company during BSA Defense.

Congratulations, PFC Buie!

One of Charlie Med's Soldiers, PFC Johnston, pulled medical support on a mortar range supporting the forward observers. He was able to send eight down range. The perks of being Doc.

Here are a few shots from this past drill weekend at the range.

Soldiers must zero their weapon, qualify by hitting at least 23 out of 40 targets, and move to EST 2000 to simulate night fire and NBC.

#Savers also pulled medical coverage for each range.

Keep our Battalion and SFC Pannell’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this time.

Another great Soldier has passed from our ranks and released from her earthly duty to her heavenly home. SSG Kimberly L. Pannell, a member of the 106th Brigade Support Battalion (BSB) and a full-time employee at the Tupelo Army Aviation Support Facility passed away on February 23, 2020.

It takes a special person to serve their country, often times having to sacrifice time away from their family and leaving the comfort of their home to defend and protect this great nation so that Americans can enjoy their freedoms, safety and way of life. Soldiers from the 106th BSB are better for having served alongside SSG Pannell and are forever grateful for her
dedication and service to the 106th BSB and the Mississippi Army National Guard. You will be forever missed and will always be in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers. Rest in Peace

Charlie Med had two Soldiers complete the Air Assault course held at Camp Buehring Kuwait. These Soldiers went through three separate try outs, competing for their chance at even attempting the course. They endured several written tests, hands on evaluations, and many physical obstacles to include a 12 mile ruck march. They were awarded the Air Assault Badge to wear with pride. Help us congratulate SGT Micha and SPC Pilate!
