There were great presentations by the Cullman County Sheriffs office and District Attorney Champ Crocker. We loved helping out United Way of Cullman County at their table for the event!

Our time in Washington, D.C. has come to a close, and we are feeling so incredibly grateful. Getting to stand alongside advocates from all across the country to advocate for survivors.

We couldn't have done this work alone. We are grateful to have advocated with Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 2nd Chance, Turning Point, and Safe house of Shelby County.

​The Willow Path is on Capitol Hill today because the decisions made in these rooms directly dictate the safety of survivors back home. Domestic violence services—from emergency shelters and 24/7 crisis lines to court advocacy and prevention—aren't just line items on a budget.
They are literal lifelines.
