Hi friends, family, prayer warriors and loyal supporters of better second chances, we are sharing a very special ask.

For the next 72 hours, we are launching a campaign called “CARRY ONE ANOTHER,” based on
Galatians 6:2
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you fulfill the law of Christ.”

Every single day we work with men and women inside of prison, coming out of prison, overcoming addiction, rebuilding their families, and trying to rediscover hope and purpose again. We currently have 2,441 students in our in-prison programs in 67 prisons across the USA and in Africa.

Many of them feel forgotten.
Many feel alone.
Many simply need someone willing to walk beside them.
THAT'S WHERE WE COME IN!

Through mentorship, prison outreach, reentry support, "I See ME Free" workbooks, transportation assistance, and encouragement, we help people move from hopelessness to transformation.

We are excited to share a few special spring updates with you below, including recent highlights, ministry growth, and momentum toward the future LifeChangers Transformational Training & Wellness Center.

We are also excited to announce that beginning in June, Dr. Pamela Hillman will be expanding outreach efforts by serving inside Coastal State Prison every other week, continuing the mission of bringing hope, mentorship, healing, and restoration through the “I See ME Free” program.

"I truly believe "I SEE ME Free" is a life changing journey that I am still walking. When I started this program I was looking for something to do productively while sitting in county jail. Someone told me about the program. I had no idea everything I knew about my life was about to be challenged. I was a decent person and loved God. Just had an addiction that I could not shake. When I completed Phase 1 my life looked like a defeated wasteland. I got out of jail and got the program out of mind. I would still get texts from Loriann and Cody and I would remember.

Four years later I am in prison from that same charge still trying to blame everyone but me and I reached out to Loriann for Phase 2. The journey continues and today I am almost done with Phase 3 and my life if changing daily. This program is so impactful that a friend and I are putting Phase 1 on a power point slide show and creating a lesson plan to teach " I See ME Free" as a group for Faith and Character's next rotation. I am also a member of the prison newsletter where I write a column, "Walk With Wisdom" including nuggets of wisdom which are taken from my perspective of the workbooks and my transformation journey."

Thank you to so many of our partners and friends for joining us last week. The 11th GGRA “Better Second Chances” Symposium was a powerful time of connection, honor, and shared purpose.

GGRA celebrated their founder, Russell Gray, with a special banner honoring his vision and legacy, and recognized Pastor Lee Robbins as this year’s Governor Nathan Deal Better Second Chances Award recipient for his incredible impact in the reentry community.

We heard an inspiring message from keynote speaker, Tony Lamar2 Kitchens. The event was a true reflection of what happens when a community comes together.

Together, we are creating not just second chances, but better second chances. We would love to see you all at the May meeting. Details and speaker information will be coming soon.
