Family Promise of Forsyth County, Inc Our Mission: Empowering families experiencing homelessness to achieve sustainable independence, Family Promise of Forsyth County, Inc.

provides short-term housing and goal-oriented programs. We recognize that poverty is a multifaceted problem that requires a multifaceted response. We respond by integrating educational outreach, smart programming, effective policies, and the hands-on work of thousands of volunteers. We provide food, shelter, and support services for homeless families. We provide advice and advocacy for at-risk families to prevent their becoming homeless. Our team is already having an amazing time at the Family Promise National Conference, already learning from peers, and are.excited for the actual conference sessions to begin! We have met folks from all over the country!

We are so excited to have gotten the chance to celebrate Alicia and her son’s graduation from our Residential Program last night! 🎓

Alicia has worked so hard in this program to build stability for her and her son! We could not be more proud of them, and cannot wait to walk alongside them as they enter this new chapter as graduates! 🎉

Thank you so much to all of the amazing volunteers and graduates who came out to celebrate last night, as well as those you generously donated items off of the family’s wish list, your gifts and presence are so greatly appreciated!
