Ministries of Grace It received its official 501c3 status in March of 2014. Volunteers benefit from leadership, mentoring and coaching.

OVERVIEW
Meals by Grace (MbG) is a Christian Ministry serving families since January of 2011. Vetted through county social workers for food insecurity, MbG is a unique community driven organization delivering meals to individual homes. MbG utilizes multiple sources of food

in addition to the Feeding America network through both the Georgia Mountain and Atlanta Community Food Banks. MbG operates 6 of every 7 days per week including a weekly service/delivery day and two community pantry days. SERVICES
Weekly hot meal delivery
Weekly shelf stable food delivery
Monthly distribution of toiletries and laundry detergent
School break bags of shelf stable food (breakfasts, lunches, healthy snacks)
Shelf stable food bags positioned for immediate access in local schools
Extended summer feeding program for non-program children
Community food pantry
Senior Support

VOLUNTEERISM

Volunteers form teams to deliver services to the community. In addition to a large, stable base of individual community volunteers and families, we utilize a vast community of groups including, but not limited to:

Flood Student Missions
High School clubs (NHS, BETA, DECA)
Local sports teams
Scouting groups (boy & girl)
Mountain Lake church life groups
Community HOA groups
Browns Bridge & North Point Community Church (adult small groups, Transit & Insideout groups) Local college graduate groups: Kennesaw, University of North Georgia, Philadelphia School of Osteopathic Medicine, etc. Numerous other churches and civic groups

MbG is currently operating from two locations:

Some people leave an impression simply by being themselves—and Ms. Gail is one of those people.

Every Wednesday, her joyful laugh fills the pantry, her warm smile welcomes every family, and her kindness reminds people they are seen, valued, and loved.

After the passing of her husband, who faithfully served as a pastor in Dawsonville, Ms. Gail chose to continue serving her community through Ministries of Grace. Week after week, she faithfully shows up, offering encouragement, compassion, and the love of Christ to everyone she meets.

When she's away, families ask where she is. When she arrives, they're quick to stop and catch up before anything else. That's the kind of impact she has.

Ms. Gail, thank you for being such a beautiful example of what it means to serve with grace. We are incredibly grateful for you and the light you bring to our pantry and our community. 🤍

Some partnerships are built over time. 🤍

This photo takes us back to 2020, when Casa Nuova was generously donating food to support Ministries of Grace families during a time when our community needed it most.

Years later, they're still showing up.

This September, we're honored to have Casa Nuova catering the 2026 Table of Grace Gala, continuing a relationship rooted in generosity, community, and caring for our neighbors.

Their support is a beautiful reminder that making an impact isn't always about one moment—it's about choosing to show up again and again.

Support the arts. Help feed a family. 🤍

For many families in our community, putting a meal on the table isn't always guaranteed. But together, we can help change that.

From August 3–8, Sawnee Ballet Theatre is hosting a Pasta & Rice Food Drive alongside their production of Mulan to benefit Ministries of Grace.

If you're attending the performance, bringing a box of pasta or a bag of rice may seem like a small act—but for a family facing food insecurity, it can provide comfort, nourishment, and hope.

We're incredibly grateful to Sawnee Ballet Theatre for turning their stage into a place where our community can come together to make a meaningful difference.

Every donation helps us continue walking alongside families as they move from surviving to thriving.

We’re so excited to partner with Guadalupa Taqueria by Chef Eddie for an August food drive benefiting Meals by Grace! 💗

All month long, stop by Guadalupa Taqueria and bring along pantry items to help us fill our shelves and feed local families facing food insecurity in Forsyth & Dawson Counties.

🥫 Most-needed items include: boxed mac & cheese, meals in a can, canned soup, rice, cereal & oatmeal, individual snacks, canned vegetables, canned meats, canned fruits, peanut butter & jelly, and dry pasta.

Donations can be dropped off inside during normal business hours.
