The Greater Dallas area provides year-round sports training and competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities from the following counties: Bowie, Camp, Cass, Collin, Dallas, Delta, Ellis, Fannin, Flower Mound, Franklin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Lewisville, Morris, Red River, Rockwall and Titus.

Once again this year we are hosting a Prom for junior and senior students regardless of their school or home schooled. This is a fabulous totally free event from formal gowns for any of the girls and tuxes for the senior young men. The girls will also be treated to hair styling and make up! ✳️✳️✳️ CONFERENCE UPDATE ✳️✳️✳️ Brandie Wiley will join our speaker lineup at the November 10th A Look Ahead Conference. ✔️ SESSION DESCRIPTION: Further education and training leads to a variety of personal and financial benefits. Low expectations and a lack of opportunities can combine to keep some students from receiving these benefits. Join us for a screening of the film: Rethinking College and a discussion that includes post-secondary learning options, financial resources and recommendations to make college a reality. ✔️ SPEAKER BIO: Brandie has lived in the Fort Worth area for almost 25 years. She earned two bachelor’s degrees from TCU and then taught in the public education system for 10 years. She currently works as a learning specialist in higher education. Brandie has a Master’s degree from the University of Kansas in Special Education - Transition and her Texas special education teaching certification. She has also authored two children’s books on topics related to disability. In 2018, Brandie graduated from Texas Partners in Policymaking.
