Be sure to join Officer Butler's Summer Reading Challenge and help your child continue building strong reading habits while having fun along the way. Reading logs can be found in our summer backpacks we sent home.

A huge shoutout to our incredible Culture Leader, Ms. Sinclair, Ms. Huse, and our amazing Specials & Enrichment Team for organizing such a fun and meaningful staff awards celebration to wrap up the school year!

What made these awards extra special? Each teacher award was nominated and voted on by their students! Seeing our staff recognized through the eyes of the students they impact every day made for such a memorable experience.

It was the perfect way to celebrate an exciting year at Shackelford! We are beyond thankful for every single staff member who helps make our school such a special place. From our teachers and paraprofessionals to our cafeteria staff, custodians, office team, and specials teachers — every person plays an important role in keeping our school running smoothly and ensuring student success remains at the heart of all we do.

Our staff truly is the BEST, and we are so grateful for the dedication, care, and positivity they brought to our students and campus this school year! We hope they have a restful and fun summer. See you in August!

One last cheer from our 2025–2026 Spirit Squad! 📣💙💛

It has been such a joy watching this group light up our Friday Synergy Rallies all year long with their spirit, energy, and leadership. Today was extra special as they officially passed down their pom poms to the next generation of Shack spirit leaders!

We are so thankful for the heart and dedication poured into this team by Miss Esparza and Ms. Woodall. Thank you for helping our students shine and for bringing so much excitement and encouragement to our campus each week!

The stats are in, and Shackelford Elementary is officially #1 in the nation for Marathon Kids for the SECOND year in a row!! Our campus ran 148,207 miles!🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🎉

Huge shoutout to Coach Acree and Coach Esparza for inspiring our students, families, and staff to sharpen the saw, stay active, and log those miles all year long. Their energy and encouragement helped create a culture of healthy habits and perseverance across our campus!

We are so proud of our Shack Braves for continuing to lead the way and prove that hard work and teamwork pay off. Way to go, Shack!
