I filed to run for Haltom city council in January. I am unopposed as of the deadline today. I will be sworn in, in early May for Place 2, for a 2 year term. I am humbled to represent all the citizens of Haltom City.

Welcome to my page - my running for City Council, Place 2. I am Kyle Hantz, and I have lived in Haltom City for 7 years. A bit about me, I was raised in Dallas, and graduated in 1982 from Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. I worked my entire career, 1982-2016 in the downtown Fort Worth federal building. I have lived in Arlington, Ft Worth and Weatherford, before moving to Haltom City. I have been on Haltom City’s Planning and Zoning Commission, and Charter Review Committee. I am ready to help keep the city moving forward with smart development, and a citizen focused mindset for any decision I would make, should you choose me for this elected position.
