Happy Autism Awareness Month

Apparently, God has insight into my capabilities that I lack, as becoming a parent to an autistic child was not something I had envisioned for myself. Nevertheless, I am grateful for this role. It has been incredibly rewarding, and the social and emotional challenges my child faces have taught me invaluable lessons about being a better mother to her. While we both continue to navigate this journey, I must acknowledge that she has been my most significant teacher. Her exceptional intelligence often surpasses her own good, and she possesses a remarkable sense of humor. I would like to extend my appreciation to all parents of autistic children during Autism Awareness Month. May our tireless efforts and the joy our children bring us be the driving forces that enable us to rest well at night, ready to face another day. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
