Today was very special for Mrs. Esparza’s students - they got to share their roots and culture with Mrs. Doigg’s and Mrs. Grant’s classes! Each class took a coloring/vocab matching sheet with the artifact vocabulary that was shared in the whole group presentation.

Check out this collaborative art installation! Kinder, 2nd, and 5th grades have each worked on a piece of art that compliments the other - starfish, realistic sea creatures, and clay fish. It’s beautiful!

Our 5th grade students did a spooky review of multiplying decimals today. Each team earned “pumpkins” that had equations they had to solve and added them at the end for a spooky surprise!👻

We are "paw-sing" for good behavior and celebrating our Bulldogs of the Month. These amazing students were chosen by their teachers for showing responsibility at school.

We are also celebrating our CKH Staff Member of the Month, Mrs. Rawls, who was chosen by her peers for being a shining example of the principles of Capturing Kids' Hearts at Davis.

Our 1st graders are math whizzes!!! They are learning about how to use doubles facts to help them find the answer to near doubles facts.
