The mission of the Community Prosecution Section is to proactively improve public safety and the quality of life within the City of Dallas. Community Prosecution Section strives to proactively improve public safety and the quality of life within the City of Dallas by: (1) engaging the community to identify and solve nuisance-related problems, (2) seeking voluntary compliance from property owners who maintain substandard or hazardous properties or illegal land uses, (3) filing civil actions and criminal prosecution against non-compliant property owners, and (4) strategically collaborating with other city departments and local agencies to more effectively deploy city resources.
POST / COMMENT REMOVAL POLICY The Community Prosecution (CP) page was created by the CP Division to highlight CP community collaboration and facilitate the exchange of information with the public at large. To promote such exchange, we encourage and welcome postings and comments from the general public about issues related to improving public safety and the quality of life in Dallas. With that said, we reserve the right to regulate the content of, and where necessary delete completely, any objectionable entry that appears on its fan page. CP is responsible for monitoring all postings to its page and may take appropriate action whenever necessary, and at its sole discretion, to protect other page visitors from inappropriate or otherwise harmful information and links.
