SeniorNet of Dallas The Seniornet Dallas group is no longer operational For more information about Seniornet go to Seniornet.org SeniorNet of Dallas Inc. is a local organization affiliated with the international nonprofit organization "SeniorNet" for computer-using seniors 50 and over.

These seniors have a desire to increase their personal knowledge, enhance their talents and share their wisdom with others. Since mid 1980, over 220 SeniorNet Learning Centers have been started around the world.

Mission: SeniorNet's mission is to provide older adults education for and access to computer technology to enhance their lives and enable them to share their knowledge and wisdom. SeniorNet, a non-profit organization, teaches seniors (age 50 plus) how to use computers and the Internet at over 220 Learning Centers nationwide.

General information

The classroom is equipped with ten computers, nine for students and one for the instructor. A projector system allows the students to view actual procedures as they are performed on the instructor's system. SeniorNet reserves the right to cancel courses, adjust curriculum or schedules and substitute instructors. SeniorNet does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, sex or disability. To sign up for Seniornet classes you must enroll in person during our open office hours 11-2 most days, not including holidays.
