Giving Back Through Community!
Following our beautiful Tea Ceremony, U.S.Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Oshi's Studio were honored to make a donation to Day Star School, supporting The Day Star Project.
This special initiative provides scholarships and opportunities for individuals with special needs, helping create greater access, inclusion, and possibilities for their future.
We are grateful to everyone who came together to celebrate, connect, and give back. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.

The spirit of Odesa came alive in North Texas on September 13 as the U.S.–Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce hosted a special Odesa City Day celebration — bringing together Ukrainians, Americans, and people of many different nationalities to celebrate the city’s culture, traditions, music, and resilience.
The celebration was also an opportunity to stand with the people of Odesa and Ukraine during an extremely difficult period.
Odesa and the surrounding region have continued to face Russian missile and drone attacks. Rather than allowing the ongoing violence to silence the city’s spirit, participants gathered to celebrate what makes Odesa unique — its people, humor, music, hospitality, and ability to bring people together.
“We refuse to let darkness take away our light. We choose unity, hope and life” -native Odesa lady said.
The evening featured performances by Inna Psiarnetskaia , pianist Natalie Aleksandrova , guitar player Ihor Kudelin, violinist Marek Leszczynski, and dancers Natali Hrodska and Daria. DJ Leo Velsher kept the celebration going throughout the evening.
The event was hosted by Selda Mediterranean Kitchen - Frisco , whose hospitality helped create a welcoming setting for the celebration.
The Chamber also gives appreciation to the photographers George Pecoraro and Mark Mezhenskyi, videographer Yevgenii Gorbunov of PhotoCinemaPro and volunteers!
Special recognition was given to the event’s sponsors, whose continued support helps sustain community initiatives and humanitarian efforts:

Odesa is alive! Ukraine is alive! And the Odesa spirit continues to shine — even from thousands of miles away!

I Run for Ukrainian Heroes — A Powerful Day of Unity and Support!
Today was a very important and meaningful day as our community came together for I Run for Ukrainian Heroes.
We ran not only for fitness, but for a purpose — to honor the brave Ukrainian heroes who are fighting for freedom, democracy, and peace. Every step was a message to Ukraine: You are not alone. We remember you, we support you, and we stand with you.
It was especially meaningful to see the support of the American people. 🇺🇸🤝🇺🇦 Your kindness, friendship, and continued support give strength and hope to the people of Ukraine.
Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, donated, and stood with us. Together, we are stronger!

U.S.Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce was honored to celebrate the 35th Independence Day of Ukraine at the Consulate General of Ukraine in Houston .
It was a very important and meaningful occasion to come together, celebrate our Ukrainian heritage, honor Ukraine’s strength and resilience, and stand united in support of our homeland.

Part 1. A Celebration of Unity, Heritage, and the Unbreakable Spirit of Ukraine 🇺🇦
What an extraordinary evening it was as the entire DFW community came together to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, Ukrainian Flag Day, and Kharkiv Day!

This celebration was a beautiful reflection of the diversity and unity that make our community so special. People of many different nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures joined us to celebrate Ukraine, honor its heritage, and show their support for the Ukrainian people. 🇺🇦🤝🇺🇸
It was a celebration not only of a nation, but of freedom, culture, friendship, resilience, and the unbreakable human spirit. Through music, traditions, meaningful connections, and the support of our friends and partners, we were reminded that Ukraine’s story resonates far beyond its borders.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who came together to make this evening so meaningful, powerful, and unforgettable.
