Nigerian Youth Movement A platform for youth to air their views on issues that border on national development, foster unity

It is very disturbing when our comedians make silly jokes about soldiers slapping, beating or intimidating civilians. The soldiers belong to two places; the barracks and the war-front. Unfortunately the military are not the only culprit in this matter; most uniformed personnel are guilty of these heinous crimes. How can you tell a fellow human to crawl in the gutter just because you are a uniformed personnel.

If you understood Aisha Buhari's criticism of her husband in Hausa language, why are you now struggling to understand the President unofficial Sallah messsage made in the same language?
Well, something must trend per week. Last week, the social media was filled with news of the demonic Evans.

He died a hero. May he be accepted by his Creator and may the Almighty God be with his family. A clarion call to the Buhari-led govt and the Nigerian Army to please ensure that the family of the gallant soldier is catered for. Rest in peace, Patriot.

“The army after toppling our democratic regime have no option but to install Buhari as head of state so as to avoid credibility problems, especially in the sight of the international community because of his being an epitome of integrity."
- SHAGARI.
“There are only 2 honest & reliable Nigerians. Myself & Buhari. All what PDP is saying of Buhari being fundamentalist is mere hot lies. They just fear, let‘s go to jail “
– OBJ
General Muhammadu Buhari as a member of the Supreme Military Council and as Head of NNPC was by nature taciturn and introvert. But he took any work that was given to him very seriously. He is reliable as he is hardworking and honest, his path of moral probity and rectitude” Incorruptible
– President Olusegun Obasango , in his book, “Not My Will”.
“Buhari was a big brother & a father to some extent that mean nothing in life & to the nation always other than good. So, I fear no harm from him.“
– LATE YAR‘ADUA.
“Buhari was honest & sincere in all his conduct that perhaps, only very few Nigerians could match in integrity.“
–GEN. ABDUSSALAM
“Gen. Muhammadu Buhari was a true patriot, respected former head of state & elder statesman & a nationalist.“
-PRESIDENT JONATHAN.
“I have realized our collective mistake in over-throwing you. I have seen the terrible damage which our inaction caused to the Nigerian psyche. I am most sorry. Please, come and do what is best known about you. Patriotic service to the nation.“
–LATE ABACHA (PTF inaugural speech).
“If Buhari quit PTF job as he promises & as we knew him to mean his words, all along, I support the idea of scrapping PTF as no one else can do the job as him.“ –IBB
I respect Buhari. He was my Boss.He was an honorable man. And I can say this anywhere”.
-General Ibrahim Babangida.
“As a member PDP BOT, I decided personally to donate the #5,000,000 to Buhari‘s campaign organization because of my firm believe in his ability to right all the nation wrongs-
ALH. ISIYAKU IBRAHIM.
“Buhari is as clean as the book I am holding”
~ Alhaji Isiaku Ibrahim, a Member of PDP Board of Trustees @ a Book launch in Kaduna
“The issue of Gen. The Buhari‘s presidency was always being derided by the criminals who looted the nation to stupor by embarking upon a campaign of calumny so as to smear his name with a view to denying Nigerians having a leader who can improve their lots.“
–PROF. DAVID WEST.
“If the truth must be said, Buhari remain the only real threat to PDP wither he runs for the presidency or not due to his wider followership among the masses that now hit the elite circle.“
-SEN. MAKARFI.
General Buhari rose from the rank of a lieutenant in the army to a General. At one time, he was a GOC. He was later appointed Military Administrator of the old North-East. He was in the Petroleum Ministry as minister. In December 1983 he became Head of State via a coup. During late General Sani Abacha’s regime, he headed the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) before former President Obasanjo scrapped it. But I read in the papers where the General himself said after obtaining his CPC presidential form, which cost him over N5 Million, he is now left with less than a million Naira in his account. Now my task is to challenge all of us to ensure this man becomes President this year. General Buhari deserves to be given a chance. When he became Head of State after the 1983 coup, thousands of Second Republic politicians, including me, were picked and locked up by the Junta. But even in kirikiri, I discovered that the NPN elements among us were giving bribe to prison officials to ensure they got a double ration of food. It dawned on me that people who can offer bribes even in kirikiri have no reason to be our leaders. Buhari was vindicated.

THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW
The comedian we call president is saying we should pray for Nigeria. Na ludo he go play for Israel? See, just open a Ministry for Prayers and appoint Oritsejafor as Minister. This guy will take us to just one place and that is NOWHERE. India is worshipping idols but they already have their spacecraft on Mars. What of China? What of Germany? What of France? Their leaders use their brains to work and don't talk bu****it all the time. Pray, pray, pray, when are you going to ever do anything reasonable? Pray, stealing is not corruption. Pray, corruption is the order of the day. Pray, electricity is worse than what it was in 1999.
Pray, over 100,000 barrels of crude oil are stolen under your black hat every single day. Pray, Nigerian soldiers have turned to frightened rabbits defecating in their camo. Pray, the air force is a huge joke. Navy, what navy? Pray, hundreds of girls have gone missing for 200 days +, it will soon be a year and you will still be telling us pray. Can't you just see your own incompetence? Pray, hospitals are bad. Pray, there is no single government paediatric centre. Not even ONE. Pray, frustrated & jobless youths die at recruitment tests & you cannot fire that bu****it-talking interior minister. The defence HQ is still studying that Shekau video ba? The downed fighter jet nko? The beheaded pilot? You expect his family to be clapping or praying for you, right? The $15 million was for which arms? Voicemail.
Pray, where is your Stella Oduah & the BMWs? Pray, where is Maina & the embezzled pension funds? Pray, old soldiers are protesting in Abuja for their money. Pray, parts of Nigeria are now Islamic terror enclaves. Can't you just look within you, summon your innermost powers & inspire the entire nation? Is that not what Alexander the Great would have done? NO. YOU CANNOT OFFER WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE. Pray, your wife is staying in Abuja & was collecting salary from Bayelsa for work she never did. Pray, your party has plunged the nation into more darkness. Pray, you keep fumbling every day. Pray, pray, pray. You are so monotonous, uninspiring, uncreative, unimaginative and boring. I don't hate you but I totally detest your incompetence & like millions of Nigerians, we cannot tolerate you a day extra as the pilot of this country once your tenure expires like Cowbell meulk without NAFDAC number.
You do not have the courage of a Thomas Sankara. We all know you cannot die for this nation. You said it yourself that if you go to Chibok, they will just kill you. So Nigerians living there nko? Who will protect them? A whole commander-in-chief of Africa's fourth largest armed forces. That was a big disgrace on TV. You lack the vision of a Kwame Nkrumah. You do not possess the cerebration of Julius Nyerere. You lack the selflessness of Nelson Mandela who was just 44 when he gladly went to jail for his people. Or you want to tell me you can stay locked up in Kirikiri for 27 years just for Nigerians? I pray Even your Oga DSP Alamieyeseigha had to jump bail in London. And yet, your sycophants want us to believe you are Mandela.
You are not a Man not to talk of a Dela.
You just can't pretend to be a Patrice Lumumba. You do not have the burning passion of leaders who die for their countries. You cannot lead a war to save your own people or rouse your own armies to glory but you can eat with billions and splash gold on weddings or coat your jets with it. Your wife even had the audacity to spend N500million on a thanksgiving after she returned from Germany for treatment although you said you revolutionized the health sector in Nigeria. Who are you deceiving? You do not have the seductive warmth of a Gamal Nasser. The oratory powers of Tafawa Balewa or Samora Machel you cannot summon. The boldness of Ahmadu Bello you don't have & the resilience of an Awolowo or the sagacity of an Azikiwe is not just in your nature. Seretse Khama Ian Khama is the president of Botswana but Good Lord, that's a LEADER! ROCK-SOLID LEADER. You might want to call him for some lessons. You are holding this nation back and we will not allow that continue. Even the monkeys of Idanre are now smart, they use their own mobile phones.
You think you can bobo us with all this religious blackmail? If I will pray any prayer, it is for this great country to get rid of thoroughly incompetent & divisive leaders like you & never witness this kind of disaster in leadership EVER again. You were totally not ready for this kind of job & we will not allow you to continue gambling with our own future and destinies. Let your supporters keep crying & screaming, we will not be deterred until you go back to your village (you are even lucky because your defence chief has no village to even return to) or exile, whichever you so choose. I will not mention the third option which I know you are very afraid of. Our destinies are far more important that your personal ambition. We have had enough of your manipulations, deceit, lies & outright mischief & an even greater crime of trying to use religion to cover it up. Your trick will not work this time. We are waiting for the story you will tell us on November 11 when you will you open your mouth and tell us to give you four more years so you can ruin us completely, maybe you still don't have shoes, you will tell us. In 1983, Bamanga Tukur was the Governor of the defunct Gongola State (now Adamawa & Taraba) and 30 years later, he is today the Chairman of the ruling party, The PDP; Dr Bello Halliru was commissioner in the Old Sokoto State ( now Sokoto , Kebbi & Zamfara) and 33 years after he is today Minister of Defence; Major General David Mark(rtd) was the military governor of Niger State in 1984 and 28years later he is today the Senate President; Gov. Murtala Nyako was the governor of Niger State in 1976 and 36years later he is today the Governor of Adamawa State; Ogbonnaya Onu was governor of Abia State in 1992 and 20years after he is today the National Chairman of ANPP; Gov. David Jonah Jang was the governor of Benue State in 1985 and 27years after he is today the governor of plateau state; and Martins Elechi the Ebonyi State Governor is over 80years Old! Only in Nigeria is this possible, where the youth of today have no hope into the future! A Cross section of the National Assembly (Senate) will showe you a number of Ex-Governors who after two terms as Governors of thier different states made the Senate thier restroom fooling us to be Senators representing our interest. Where do we go from here? 1985, IBB was the President of Nigeria and our teachers told us that Buhari was the former Head of State... Our teacher also called us ''we are the leaders of tommorrow''.. 27years later IBB and Buhari are still contesting for Presidency... Its either our teacher lied to us about being the leaders of tommorrow... Or tommorrow is yet to come... Who's fooling who? Some of us ran out of the country,Obasanjo went abroad chasing them, telling all nations to deport Nigerian youths. Let's stand and fight for our right cos we are the leaders of Today... Pls let all youth come to an alliance and fight for the unborn. We can't continue like this. Pass it to everyone if you believe in the NIGERIA DREAM. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, I signed it will you do the same

The post-NGF election drama is quite unbelievable. In pursuit or defense of selfish interest, some records are being set by our shameless governors. I'm sure by 2015, one of them should top the chart as world most stupid person.

If 35 senior citizens,..35 Men...35 State Governors...just 35 of dem (dem no even reach one ward) pack dem sef inside one small parlour and couldn't conduct a small election...and all we keep hearing are issues of Manipulation, interference...then these Governors have no moral rights to complain abt such issues at general elections....in the real sense, we get very very serious problem for naija....

Fellow Nigerians, by now you must have heard of the gruesome killing of a British soldier by 2 young British men at Woolwich.
One of them has been identified as Michael Adeboloja and is being referred to as Nigerian/British by the Media.
Forgotten that, name does not determine the nationality. This lunatic was born in UK & hold British passport and never been to Nigeria.
They have suddenly forgotten so soon that at the Olympics games,16 out of the 541 were Nigerians but were referred to as British;
Phillips Idowu, James Dasaolu, Andrew Osagie, Lawrence Okoye, Abdul Buhari, Abiodun Oyepitan, Anyika Onuora, Margaret Adeoye, Christine Ohuruogu, Marilyn Okoro, Eniola Aluko, Temitope Fagbenle, Anthony Ogoro, Anthony Joshua, Peter Bakare and Dami Bakare.
All represented Britain at the Olympics and WERE NEVER referred to as Nigerian/British.

Nigerians !!! It is time we reject ALL negatives being attached to US as a nation and take pride in our tradition and culture.
Let the world know that despite our differences &challenges we are good people with kind hearts, love and respect the human race. We have in no small way contributed immensely to the world economy.
We are energetic, industrious &no amount of propaganda by the western media can take away our PRIDE.
We are NIGERIANS and Our motto is PEACE AND UNITY
