Pick up your FREE WaterSmart funnels now through December 29 at any of the Grand Prairie Libraries or City Hall. Use the funnel to pour holiday cooking fats, oils, and grease (FOG’s) into non-leaking containers with lids. Save the container in the fridge or freezer until the next HHW Collection Event.

Experience the full water, lights, music, and video projection spectacle at 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:30 PM, and 10:30 PM. Holiday Cooking Reminder ❗

Fats, cooking oil and grease (FOGs) can clog drains. When a sewer pipe is clogged, raw sewage can come up through cleanouts or city manholes, contaminating soil and waterways. Never pour FOGs down your drain.

You can pick up a FREE grease funnel, Nov. 15 through Dec. 29, at any of the Grand Prairie Libraries or at City Hall, 300 W. Main St. With the help of the funnel, you can pour your FOGs into a non-leaking container with a lid and save until our next Household Hazardous Waste event.
