Dallas Film Commission We promote Dallas' creative industries such as film & television production, music, advertising, interactive (video game development, AR/VR), design and more... serving as a resource & liaison in order to attract new business & advocate for growth.

The Dallas Film Commission is in the process of transitioning to the Dallas Film & Creative Industries Office and responsible for marketing and developing sales strategies to attract business and foster the growth of the creative media industries in Dallas. Serving industry sectors that produce content such as film & TV, music, advertising, interactive (video game development & AR/VR), design & still photography. The office will continue to function as the film commission and is a long standing member of the Association of Film Commissioners International. The office provides information regarding local resources such as crew, equipment and services. Its mission also includes promoting and advocating for growth of the local industry sectors. Reflecting experienced staff, civic support and a diverse selection of sites, services and talent throughout one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States, the commission will be your partner from project conception to completion.

Deadline to apply to appear as a performer during the telethon is November 2nd. Performers & Artists of all kinds are needed (music, music videos, short films, even feature films will be considered, but please make sure the content is not strictly for adults).

Our new TV series is in need of a low to middle income type home to film both interior & exterior scenes soon. The project is set in the early 1990's, so looking for options that haven't been updated a great deal (prefer 50's thru 70's style). They will bring in the appropriate set dressing so don't worry about the style of your furniture & furnishings (yours will be safely moved & put back after they are done).

They pay location fees, provide insurance coverage and are following strict cleaning, disinfecting, health & safety protocols due to Covid-19. If you own a house and would like to make some money from it for a change, please submit your property to us ASAP so that we can pass it along for their consideration. Dallas Film announces the first-ever Ozarka Brand Drive-In Film Festival. FREE event @ Four Corners Brewery. Friday Night Lights - Friday, Oct. 23rd & The Rookie - Saturday, Oct. 24th.

We’re excited to announce the first-ever Ozarka Natural Spring Water Drive-In Film Festival starting October 23rd!

This festival, hosted by Dallas Film, will take place throughout October to November in Dallas, Austin, & Houston, bringing Texans together for a showing of notable Texas films (as voted by Texans, of course!) over select weekends. For those interested in attending the drive-in, each event is free & first come, first park basis – so be sure to get there early to get a good spot!

The Dallas International Film Festival kicks off their Drive-In Film Festival tonight!

Mark you calendars because the fun starts tonight here at DIFF!

Tonight we have a FREE double drive-in screening event at Four Corners Brewing Co. featuring SAVE YOURSELVES! & SCARE ME, which were both on Vulture's must see list for the fall.

Then tomorrow night we have a screening of SURGE followed by a Q&A with one of the filmmakers Wendy Sachs, moderated by Regina Montoya.

Finally next Wednesday our friends at Samsung are helping us bring a night full of Texas Shorts to you. These are shorts that would have run during our 2020 Dallas International Film Festival. So if you need your festival fill, you won't want to miss out on next Wednesdays drive in.
